By using This One you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.

What This One is

This One features one album per day, picked from a curated pool and from community nominations. Album metadata, artwork, and descriptions come from public databases and the original rights-holders. Featuring an album is not an endorsement and does not create any business relationship with the artist or label.

Community participation

Anyone can nominate or vote on community picks without an account. Don't abuse the system: no spam, no automated voting, no nominations that violate other people's rights or promote hate. We reserve the right to remove nominations and block IPs that disrupt the service.

Affiliate disclosure

Some buy links are affiliate links and we may earn a commission from qualifying purchases. The price you pay does not change. Affiliate relationships never influence which album is featured.

No warranty

This One is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. The site is run as a hobby and may go down, change, or be discontinued at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site.

Copyright & takedowns

Album artwork and metadata are sourced from public APIs and displayed for editorial and informational purposes. If you are a rights-holder and want something removed, contact us via the project's GitHub repository or the Donate/About page and we'll act in good faith.

Changes

These terms may change as the site evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
